Maliha Ameen (President)
A senior executive with over 20 years of experience in strategic and marketing leadership with B2B industries. Skilled in delivering sustainable growth with limited resources in highly competitive industries with core competencies in strategy formulation, lean execution, business development, product development, developing and leading high performance teams & organizational developments.
Before Immi Garments, Maliha worked for ICI Pakistan where her marketing, finance and business development roles spanned Polyester and Paint Businesses. She held various senior roles including the position of National Sales Manager for ICI Polyester. With various capacity building initiatives, she is also an alumni for the Jualian Project.
Furthermore, Maliha is also on the board of two trusts focusing on providing education to the underprivileged. Given her interest in "Education" for the masses, she has also developed accelerated programs for out of school children.
Maliha has lived and worked in Pakistan with an MBA degree and has also completed her Exec MPhil in Education to support various Educational Programs she has already initiated at Humaira Riaz Schools.
Ghazala Raza (Head of Education)
With a Master’s degree in English and TESOL, Ghazala's expertise lies in curriculum development, teacher training, and student assessment. With over 2 decades of teaching and education administration roles, she is equipped to handle all educational leadership and management roles.
She has successfully implemented several innovative programs to enhance student learning and teacher development and believes that education is the key to unlocking a better future for our children.
Sheba Taraz (School Improvement Manager)
She has a degree from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, and has been working with Humaira Riaz School on School Improvement Manager for nearly two years. She is also the Art Director and has designed and supervised the school's curricular and extracurricular art programme, with a focus on recycling and sustainability through eco-friendly arts and crafts, such as papermaking, monoprinting and paper-mache.
Furthermore, she is a specialist in Urdu and regularly trains teachers on grammar and phonics.
Nwa Abbas
Nwa has worked in the capacity of a teacher of English Literature for O' and A Level students as well as a Curriculum Consultant and Developer for English Language and Literature for private institutions in Pakistan. Currently, she is employed as Curriculum Leader – English at The City School Network and has been working alongside the Single National Curriculum (SNC) with the National Curriculum Council (NCC) in the capacity of a Subject Expert for English (Grades 1 to 12).
