Our Story

Humaira Riaz Schools It is a SECP registered non-for-profit organization. It was established by the Ameen family in 2017 in loving memory of Humaira Riaz, a gracious and generous scion of Lahore society. The schools aim to preserve her legacy of helping those in need, providing equal opportunities to disadvantaged children, and creating achievable structures of sustainable development in underprivileged communities. She had a dream of ensuring that all children got the opportunity to grow, learn, and prosper.

"Be like Humaira" is the slogan that her family wants to nurture in the school community providing underprivileged children with quality education. Upon thorough research and exploration, her family was able to identify the gaps and areas for improvement in the educational structures of the nation - data reinforced by the World Bank Report (2020) which reflects that learning poverty (meaning the inability to read and understand a simple text by age 10) in Pakistan is second highest in the World at 79%. With this figure as the driving force, Humaira Riaz Schools strives to ensure that no child is learning deprived. It further strives to align its school vision to the 7 Targets under UN Sustainable Development Goal #4 - Quality Education.

The school focuses not only on educating children but also training teachers and improving their abilities to impart knowledge through modern instructional strategies and new world requirements.
